Vivienne Westwood said it best, “Buy Less Choose Well.” If you don't know who that is, she designed Carrie Bradshaw's wedding dress in Sex and the City the Movie, ya know the one she got left at the alter in, iconic.

We're here to talk about Fast Fashion and how it comes in many forms and brands, making it hard to tell what will last and what will not. But low quality clothes at low prices are not doing much for your wardrobe or your wallet.

Places like Forever 21 and H&M are God sends for a Saturday #OOTN until your skirt rips when you step out of the Uber or shrinks 2 sizes in the dryer.

With "affordable" price tags and even cheaper fabric, it’s practically a replica of what GiGi and Kendall were wearing last night at Nobu, blinding us to lower our standards and increase or eco-footprint. At the end of the day, having a closet full of short term trends is not going to benefit you in the long run.

If you pick something up on the rack and think you’ll get less than 10 washes out of it, put it back and leave the store, you’ll be doing yourself and the environment a huge favor.

Things to keep in mind the next time you go shopping:

1. How many wears will you really get out of that top before it falls apart? If you have to ask that question, walk away.

2. Just because it's half the department store price doesn't mean it's department store quality

3. If you are buying something just to wear it for Saturday night, try and make it something you can wear..other times too.

If you take away anything from this, consider your closet in the long term. Paying a little more for an item that will last longer and will be far more worth your money. With a closet full of high quality staples and a little bit of creativity, you will always have something to wear.

Xoxo, Hunny.
